Metastatic Breast Cancer Survival Rates


The survival rate of patients with cancer to give an idea of ​​the extent of their cancer and the treatments available to them. We often hear the five-year survival rates for each stage of breast cancer, but what exactly is breast cancer survival rate?
The survival of breast cancer can be described in the following ways:

A few points about the stages of the first breast cancer.

- Phase IIB - 81%

- Phase IV - 20%
Remember that these are estimates only. Some actually live longer than 7 years, depending on treatment and lifestyle changes they make.

    my fiance has metastatic breast cancer that has spread to her hips,knee, ribs, lower spine, and a few spots on her liver, also a tumor right around her collar bone, the docs say it can't be cured but they can get it under control, so far she has had 10 radiation sessions and on her 3rd of 12 chemo treatments using the drug taxol, which all of this has put her in severe pain most of the time, the docs say they are trying to control her pain but it seems like they are not listening to us about how much pain she is in, I see it 24/7 the pain is real and oh so horrible, and very hard to deal with for me to see the person I love more than life itself hurt so bad. my question to whom ever is are they just making the rest of her life worse? thanks for listening.
